Let’s rewrite the story. Yoga isn’t just for the bendy, the young, or the ultra-zen. It’s for every body—every shape, background, ability, and rhythm. At Healing Tides, we return yoga to its roots: a practice of presence, connection, and care. This retreat is your invitation to move, feel, and rest exactly as you are.

We begin with an energising, accessible flow designed to awaken the body and settle the mind. From there, we dive into the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda with a practical workshop and a nourishing Ayurvedic lunch to support your unique constitution.

Spend your afternoon floating between healing waters and soft heat—whether in the indoor pool, sauna, or the sea that laps just behind the house. Then we drop into a transformative coaching workshop to explore where you’re growing, what needs shifting, and what you’re ready to release.

To close, we slow everything down with yin yoga and a restorative sound bath—wrapping your whole system in softness, stillness, and deep resonance.

This is a space where luxury meets inner work. Where you’re held by nature, tradition, and community. Come exactly as you are—and let the tides carry you home.

Movement, somatics meditation & yoga

Join Deanne to start the day by awakening your body’s natural flow through a dynamic somatic practice.

Tapping along the meridian lines activates energy, inviting vitality and release. Shaking dissolves tension, while conscious breath anchors you in the present. Flow into freeing, embodied yoga to expand awareness and deepen your connection to yourself and the space around you. A revitalizing journey to awaken, align, and energize, embraced by the soothing sounds of nature.

Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a complete beginner, our yoga sessions are tailored to suit all bodies and experience levels. Feel the stress melt away as you stretch and breathe in the fresh sea air.

AYURVEDA

Join Indie for an insight into the ancient science of Ayurveda that comes from the same source as its sibling science, Yoga.

Understand how our bodies and the world reflect each other in many ways and how we can align ourselves with nature’s rhythms to support your life. A new way of looking at how our mind, body and spirit can work together supported by ways of living, nutrition, herbs and self care tools.

Ancient wisdom that is so very relevant for us today.

Expect gentle movement, partner work and an exploration of your personal Doshas, which govern all aspects of your physical and mental health.

This session may just change the way you lead your life.

lunch

Lunch isn’t just a meal—it’s a ritual of nourishment, connection, and seasonal alignment. You’ll enjoy a vibrant Ayurvedic feast designed to honour the energy of summer, supporting your body with ingredients that cool, balance, and restore.

We’re thrilled to welcome our incredible chef Kim, travelling all the way from Brighton to bring her culinary magic to the table. With a deep passion for seasonal cooking, Kim crafts dishes that are as healing as they are delicious—each one rooted in Ayurvedic principles and bursting with flavour.

This shared lunch experience teaches you how to eat in harmony with the season—using nature’s own cues to support digestion, vitality, and inner calm. Expect colourful sharing plates, aromatic spices, and deeply grounding flavours served long-table style, where meaningful conversation flows as freely as the herbal tea.

This is slow food, intentional food—and it tastes even better in good company.

FREE TIME

After our nourishing Ayurvedic lunch, the afternoon opens up just for you. This is your time to rest, reset, or roam—no schedule, no expectations, just gentle freedom to follow whatever your body and soul are calling for.

Float in the indoor pool, where the bifold doors welcome in the scent of salt air and the shimmer of sunlight. Or if you’re feeling bold and wild, step out the back gate and plunge straight into the sea—the most invigorating reset nature can offer. The sauna is there too, warm and grounding, ready to melt tension and invite deeper relaxation.

Prefer something slower? Stretch out on a sunlounger, journal beneath the sky, or take yourself on a quiet beach stroll to let the morning’s teachings settle. This is your invitation to soften, to listen inward, and to soak up the simple luxury of unhurried time.

Let this be your pause between tides—a moment to choose yourself.

coaching workshop

Inner Compass: A Transformative Coaching Workshop

In the afternoon, we gather for a soulful coaching workshop designed to help you check in with where you are—and where you’re ready to go. This is your moment to pause, get honest, and tune in.

Guided through reflective prompts and gentle group coaching, you’ll explore what’s currently alive for you: where you’re growing, what feels stuck, and what you’re ready to release. There’s no right way to show up—just a safe, supportive space to meet yourself with curiosity and care.

This session is about reconnecting with your inner compass, making sense of what’s shifting beneath the surface, and creating space for new intentions to rise.

With George, founder of Sustainable Life Coach at the helm - expect real talk, quiet insight, and maybe a few lightbulb moments.

yin + sound

Our final session of the day is a 75-minute Yin + Sound workshop—a slow, grounding practice designed to help you fully land in your body and integrate the journey of the day.

Led by Becca, who has guided sound healing workshops across the world for the past five years, this session is a gentle descent into deep rest. Held outdoors, weather permitting, you’ll move through long-held yin postures to release tension and create space—physically and energetically.

As you settle into stillness, you’ll be bathed in the soothing tones of crystal bowls, chimes, and grounding instruments. Despite the name, there’s no water involved in a sound bath—just immersive waves of sound designed to calm the nervous system, quiet the mind, and bring you into a meditative, healing state.

With the earth beneath you and (hopefully!) the open sky above, this closing ritual invites you to simply receive. Let the sound hold you. Let the silence speak. Let yourself be completely met, just as you are.

    Indie is a Holistic therapist based in Brighton via London.

    Transitioning from a diverse creative career, she has embraced a more intuitive way of living. She offers Ayurveda, Holistic massage, Pranayama and Yoga as a way to reconnect with yourself, whilst realising our deep connection with the world and others around us.

    Inspired by her Bibiji- my late grandma, Kim creates plates of food that nourish both the senses and the digestive system.

    With a deep knowledge of Ayurvedic lifestyle, she combines flavours of the East with ingredients from the West (likely from just down the road actually!).
